Hello crafty friends, so excited to share with you a new art journal video using an amazing, soothing and warm new collection from Stamperia. It is called Silent Sea.

Soft Vintage Art Journal Page

The art journal we are creating today has a vintage vibe. Start by creating your background, I am creating mine in a Stamperia 6 X 6 art journal, use a blending brush or blending tool to blend some blues and light beige here and there on your page. Here we used Broken China, Salty Ocean and Antique Lenin shades of Distress inks.

I used two stencils from the Silent Sea collection to add visual texture on the background. Place the stencils and lights dab on it with blending tools.

I then used stamps to add more interest on the page, used Vintage photo distress ink with the other shades to stamp.

I cut two scraps of paper with just my hand to add at the bottom of the page as waves so I can stick my boat in between. Using the blending tool I applied light inks around the edges of the waves and all the elements that I will use.

I am using the boat and some coral reefs from the easy cutout sheets, and tucked them between both the waves and embellished with few stickers and cutouts around the boat.

For the quote I printed it and then inked the edges with the blending tools and added them to my page.
