Create Gate Fold Jurassic Card

Updated: Jun 13, 2022

Hi crafty friends, today I created the second part of my gatefold Jurassic park.

I cut a card base measuring 12 in X 5 in and I scored from each side at the 2.5" mark. then folded these two flaps to create the side folds.

I then inked the top of a 5"x5" paper, die cut using a stitched square die with Peacock Feathers Distress ink (Supplies list below with links) to create the front sky. I then directly inked the base with same color on the inside of the card.

I used two green distress ink shades to create the grassy hillside that I cut using grassy hillside border dies.

I cut my sky inked panel in half and glued each side to the corresponding side of the gate. Then cut the Jurassic gate in half and glued the halves to the sky panels.

I then went ahead and placed my images to create my scene, one planter and one tree of each side of the front gate flaps, and on the inside I placed my dinos and decorated with some greens that I cut using dies from my stash, all linked below.

I then used alphabets stickers from Heidi Swapp Shop for the sentiment "Elegant And Wild" since I found the dino with the bow looks so elegant 😍
